Alaska Airlines launches flights to Jackson Hole for winter resort traffic

On Thursday, August 27, 2020, Alaska Airlines announced a new destination, Jackson Hole, Wyo., along with three new routes that will serve it. Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) will be served from the west coast by nonstop flights from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC), and San Diego International Airport (SAN).
Flights will be operated by Alaska’s regional partner SkyWest on Embraer E175 aircraft.

The seasonal service runs from mid-December thru mid-April 2021 and will be flown by Embraer E175 jet aircraft, operated by Alaska’s regional partner SkyWest Airlines. The flights are aimed at winter sports enthusiasts looking for a weekend getaway to Jackson Hole, its surrounding ski resorts, and the Teton mountains. Jackson Hole is also a popular airport serving Yellowstone National Park. Flights will operate five days of the week, between Thursday and Monday, from Seattle and San Diego. Flights from San Jose will operate two days of the week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The flight schedules are arranged to help flyers maximize their weekend in Jackson Hole, with outbound flights from the west coast departing in the late morning/early afternoon, and return flights departing in the late afternoon/early evening.

1x daily, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
Outbound (Seattle to Jackson Hole): Departing 1:20pm, arriving 4:20pm
Return (Jackson Hole to Seattle): Departing 5:00pm, arriving 6:20pm
San Diego (SAN)
Flights operate from December 17, 2020 thru April 11, 2021
1x daily, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
Outbound (San Diego to Jackson Hole): Departing 11:55am, arriving 3:20pm
Return (Jackson Hole to San Diego): Departing 4:00pm, arriving 5:45pm
San Jose (SJC)
Flights operate from December 19, 2020 thru April 10, 2021
1x daily, Wednesday and Saturday
Outbound (San Jose to Jackson Hole): Departing 11:00am, arriving 2:15pm
Return (Jackson Hole to San Jose): Departing 3:00pm, arriving 4:35pm

To help inaugurate the new routes, Alaska has launched an introductory fare sale. Between now and September 2nd, passengers can book these new routes with fares starting at $129 one-way, for travel through February 2, 2021. Flights can be booked through Alaska Airlines on their website, alaskaair.com.
